      After Hurricane Michael caused major damage to Tyndall Air Force Base on October 10th, 2018, officials worked quickly to get the critical missions back up and running as soon as possible. Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center demonstrates through their special initiative called "Task Force Phoenix" a large part of the recovery process for Tyndall AFB.     • AFCEC RADAS class will save Warfighter lives

      The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is leading the Air Force's effort to protect Airmen by eliminating the need for ADAT teams (Airfield Damage Assessment Team) after an enemy attack. They're doing that by training operational civil engineers to use small aerial drones to assess danger as part of Rapid Airfield Damage Assessment System... or "RAY-DASS".
