    U.S. Army Sgt. Jonah Moiser, a unit supply specialist assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, fills out a tactical combat casualty care sheet before entering the medical lane on day three of the five-day Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 9, 2026. The task reinforced the importance of accurately documenting injuries and treatments, challenging competitors to demonstrate that effective casualty care extends beyond just treating the patient. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
