A young male in military-style attire is photographed from a low angle, standing on or near a large gray structure, likely an aircraft or military vehicle. He is wearing a tan/coyote brown t-shirt, dark navy tactical pants with a belt, and is holding a pair of blue-tinted protective eyewear in his left hand. The dramatic upward perspective frames him against a partly cloudy sky.

The 142nd Wing’s fleet of F-15EXs operated at Nellis AFB for three weeks in late August and early September in support of the U.S. Air Force’s Weapons Instructor Course (WIC). During this time, the unit hit a historical milestone, dropping live bombs from operational F-15EXs for the first time. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Steph Sawyer)
