    U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Christopher Bergman, a pilot assigned to the 142nd Wing climbs into an F-15EX Eagle II aircraft as he prepares to take off from Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), Nevada on August 25, 2026. The 142nd Wing’s fleet of F-15EXs operated at Nellis AFB for three weeks in late August and early September in support of the U.S. Air Force’s Weapons Instructor Course (WIC).
