    KFOR Regional Command East

    Florida Army National Guard Col. John Sargeant, commander of Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command-East and presiding officer, delivers opening remarks during a transfer of authority ceremony between 2nd Battalion, 135th Aviation Regiment (General Support Aviation Battalion), and the 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, Aug. 30, 2026. During the ceremony, 2-135th GSAB transferred responsibility for KFOR Regional Command-East Task Force Aviation to 3-1 AHB.
