A Red Wolf launched effect platform launches from a Kontio pneumatic launcher during a multi-day Special User Demonstration at Orote Airfield on Naval Station Guam, June 23, 2026. The 3d Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, 3d Multi-Domain Task Force, executed the flight profile to evaluate developing technologies such as a joint fires network to increase our realistic, relevant operational advantages.
This launch was conducted in support of Valiant Shield 2026. Exercises like Valiant Shield allow Pacific Command Joint Forces the opportunity to integrate forces from all branches of service and with our allies to conduct precise, lethal, and overwhelming multi-axis, multi-domain effects that demonstrate the strength and versatility of the joint force and our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
