A trail map stands at the Quinault Rain Forest trailhead in Olympic National Forest in Olympic National Forest, Washington, Aug. 16, 2026. The Quinault National Recreation Trail System offers visitors views of towering conifers and lush rain forest vegetation. Trails provide excellent year-round viewing of ancient Sitka spruce, Douglas fir and western red cedar on the south shore of Lake Quinault.
