U.S. Paratroopers assigned to 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division demonstrate how to operate an M224A1 mortar system during a cross training exerciseon Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Aug. 19, 2026. The exercise brought Green Berets assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) together with Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division and provided Soldiers from both units an opportunity to train together and share knowledge, enhancing interoperability and building the collective lethality needed to operate effectively in large-scale combat operations.
