Army combat medics (68W) assigned to the 181st Medical Company (Area Support), 3678th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, stabilize a simulated casualty before a medical evacuation during Annual Training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, Salinas, Puerto Rico, July 27, 2026. The training validated the medics' ability to assess injuries, provide lifesaving treatment and prepare patients for evacuation by a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, strengthening tactical combat casualty care and medical readiness in austere environments.
