    153rd Airlift Wing

    U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 153rd Airlift Wing move a Modular Airborne Firefighting System, known as MAFFS, into position to be loaded onto a C-130 Hercules at the 153rd Airlift Wing, Wyoming Air National Guard Base, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, July 13, 2026. The wing was activated the same day to deploy two aircraft, one equipped with MAFFS, in support of wildland firefighting operations in the western United States.
