Randolph Delapena, incoming Command Sergeant Major of First Army, and his Family are greeted by members of the community following the First Army change of responsibility ceremony, Rock Island Arsenal, IL, July 8, 2026. Command Sgt. Maj. Delapena was previously the command sergeant major for the 82nd Airborne Division located at Fort Bragg, NC, and the outgoing leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Prosser, will move on to become the commandant at the Sergeants Major Academy located in Fort Bliss, TX.
