NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (June 24, 2026) – Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, is rung aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70), June 24. While aboard Hopper, McLane spoke with command leadership and recognized Sailors for excellence. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
