The event provided representatives from the U.S. Pacific Command, Hawaiʻi National Guard and Indonesian military organizations an opportunity to exchange professional knowledge and strengthen defense cooperation. The engagement was part of a week-long series of events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Hawaiʻi–Indonesia State Partnership Program, which promotes military partnerships, professional exchanges and regional security cooperation between Hawaiʻi and Indonesia.
