KINGS BAY, Ga. (June 16, 2026) Marines and Sailors from Marine Corps Security Forces Battalion (MCSFBn) Kings Bay sing the Marines' Hymn during a change of command ceremony on June 16 at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga. Lt. Col. Vincent Thompson relieved Lt. Col. Joseph Moeller as the battalion’s commander. MCSFBn Kings Bay is a joint force of Marines and Sailors that serve as the security force ensuring the protection of strategic assets within the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) area of responsibility.
