KINGS BAY, Ga. (June 16, 2026) Lt. Col. Vincent Thompson (left) accepts the colors from Lt. Col. Joseph Moeller and assumes command of Marine Corps Security Force Battalion (MCSFBn) Kings Bay during a change of command ceremony on June 16 at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga. MCSFBn Kings Bay is a joint force of Marines and Sailors that serve as the security force ensuring the protection of strategic assets within the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) area of responsibility.
