Kilby, Legalman 2nd Class Saraetta Parker, Boatsman’s Mate 2nd Class Nyele Brown, Fire Controlman 2nd Class Madison McCorkle, Navy Capt. (retired) Bobby Butler and Capt. Megan Thomas, commanding officer of Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) Norfolk cut a ceremonial ribbon during the SIMA reestablishment ceremony at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia. The Navy reestablished SIMAs in Norfolk and San Diego in June 2026. SIMAs are shore commands responsible for repairing, maintaining, and modernizing surface warships.(U.S. Navy photo by Harrison T.
