U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Nicholas Del Villano, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Band, plays the bugle at the C-47 Monument in Picauville, France, June 2, 2026, as part of the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. The ceremony was a solemn tribute to the IX Troop Carrier Command, the 9th U.S. Army Air Force, and the paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions.
