The intubation manikins used in the Airway CAM course were designed and built by Dr. Richard Levitan with anatomic variations to provide a variety of experiences for laryngoscopes during an Airway CAM course to military medical personnel at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, May 19, 2026. The Airway CAM course provides a better understanding of emergency respiratory procedures like the cricothyrotomy and intubation using a video laryngoscope through practice on models developed by Levitan.
