    U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Gregory Miller, an en route critical care nurse with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, prepares to make an incision on a unique anatomically correct surgical model (CRICALOT) during an Airway CAM course for military medical personnel at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, May 19, 2026. The CRICALOT was invented by Dr. Richard Levitan, a career emergency room doctor, and is used during the Airway CAM course which provides a better understanding of emergency respiratory procedures like the cricothyrotomy and intubation using a video laryngoscope through practice on models developed by Levitan.
