NAVAL AMPHIBIOUS BASE CORONADO, Ca. (April 20, 2026) - Lt. j.g. Bryan Wei, left, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), presents a command ballcap to Midshipman 1st Class Stephen Boguszewski, who will be joining Halsey's crew following his graduation from San Diego State University during a visit to commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP). During the visit, Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, CNSP, welcomed Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) midshipmen and briefed them on the current status of the Fleet before they graduate in May. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
