Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, hosted members of the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association and regional stakeholders at Little Goose Lock and Dam to highlight ongoing efforts to maintain safe and efficient navigation along the Columbia-Snake River System.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, works closely with the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association (PNWA) and regional stakeholders to support safe, reliable navigation on the Columbia-Snake River System. Through ongoing collaboration, USACE maintains critical infrastructure—including dams, locks, and navigation channels—while PNWA advocates for federal investment in key projects such as dredging, hydropower, and system operations.
