Little Goose project, Operations Manager, Scott St. John of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, provides project information to members of the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association and regional stakeholders, to highlight ongoing efforts to maintain safe and efficient navigation along the Columbia-Snake River System.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, collaborates with the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association and industry partners to deliver critical navigation infrastructure improvements across the Columbia-Snake River System. Key efforts include executing the Capital Investment Strategy, modernizing locks and related assets, leveraging coordinated closures for major maintenance, and implementing efficient dredged material management practices that increase beneficial reuse and environmental sustainability.
