WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Port of Wilmington’s Chief of Operations shows a team of U.S. Army special operations civil affairs soldiers, based at Fort Bragg, N.C, the intricacies of a ship-to-shore crane system at a recent civil engagement to better understand its capabilities, operations, and security measures. It is actions like this that enable Civil Affairs Teams (CATs) to benchmark best practices, training, and capabilities that carry forward to developing and enhancing international military and civil partner capabilities and civil service capacities to support regional stability and commerce respectively.
