WILMINGTON, N.C. – Wilmington Fire Department’s Chief of Operations and his deputy explained the capabilities and operational training regimen of the department to a team of U.S. Army special operations civil affairs team based at Fort Bragg, N.C at a recent civil engagement. It is actions like this that enable Civil Affairs Teams (CATs) to benchmark best practices, training, and capabilities that carry forward to developing and enhancing international military and civil partner capabilities and civil service capacities to support regional stability.
