260225-N-FJ200-1086 WASHINGTON – Peeping through the stern window of the Continental Navy schooner Royal Savage scale model, viewers can observe the high level of detail applied to various parts of the ship. The model was built by Texas A&M University Ship Model Laboratory model builder Glenn Grieco. Grieco created two models for the National Museum of the U.S. Navy: one depicting the vessel as it appeared during the Battle of Valcour Island in October 1776 and the other as a wreck on the bed of Lake Champlain.
