260225-N-FJ200-1085 WASHINGTON – A detailed view of the deck, gun ports, and cannons of the scale model of the Continental Navy schooner Royal Savage. The model was built by Texas A&M University Ship Model Laboratory model builder Glenn Grieco. Grieco created two models for the National Museum of the U.S. Navy: one depicting the vessel as it appeared during the Battle of Valcour Island in October 1776 and the other as a wreck on the bed of Lake Champlain.
