Vermont State Senator Terry Williams seconds the nomination of U.S. Army Col. Roger Ziegler for Adjutant General of Vermont at the Vermont State House during a joint session at the Vermont State House in Montpelier, Vt. on February 19. Vermont is the only state that selects an adjutant general through an election and chose U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. (Retired) Henry Harder Jr. to be the next leader of the Vermont National Guard.
