U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Darrion Rawls, a 186th Air Refueling Wing heavy equipment operator assigned to Key Field Air National Guard Base out of Meridian, Missi., operates a roller to compact soil at a training excavation site at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark., on Feb. 10, 2026. The training enhanced proficiency in compaction and site preparation procedures in support of mission readiness. Ebbing ANGB is home to the 188th Civil Engineering Regional Training Site which supports hands-on training for Airmen to gain practical experience in building and assembling expeditionary structures to support contingency operations.
