    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Robert Brodie, commanding general of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, boards a U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk, with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 2, 2026. Brig. Gen. Brodie visited the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS San Diego (LPD 22) to observe the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct routine amphibious combat vehicle operations. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
