Roasted meats are prepared for a Christmas meal aboard Pre-Commissioning Unit John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) in Newport News, Virginia, Dec. 25, 2025. Culinary Specialists began preparations the night prior to ensure Sailors and their families could enjoy a traditional holiday meal during the ship’s first Christmas aboard. John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and is under construction at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division in Newport News, Virginia.
