CAMP ROBERTS, Calif. (Sep. 9, 2025) From the bed of a pickup truck, the new NPS c-UAS system tracked drones used by other experimenters at JIFX. A sensor platform developed by Mara used short-range acoustic and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors to detect the drones. DroneShield provided an omnidirectional radio frequency (RF) detection sensor, and Silvus Technologies added a broad-spectrum RF sensor. (U.S. Navy photo by Dan Linehan)
