SAN DIEGO, Ca. (Dec. 5, 2025) - Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, addresses the crew of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) during a visit to the ship Dec. 5. While aboard Sampson, McLane spoke with command leadership about the ship's recent operations, recognized Sailors for their achievements with challenge coins and participated in a promotion ceremony.
