    Musician 1st Class David Angell, from Pfafftown, North Carolina, runs sound for the U.S. Navy Band Commodores performance at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art during a weeklong celebration of the Navy and Marine Corps 250th birthday in the city that shaped the future of the United States 249 years ago with the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Visitors and residents can experience firsthand the professionalism and warfighter strength of today’s maritime service members during the week at concerts, school visits, static aerial and ground asset displays, ship tours, an air show and ceremonies across the city.
