Musician 1st Class Michaela Swan from Rochester, New York, sings the national anthem at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the start of the U.S. Navy Band Commodores performance. The concert was one of dozens of events across the city from October 9-15 celebrating the 250th birthday of the Navy and Marine Corps, allowing visitors and residents the opportunity to experience firsthand the professionalism and warfighter strength of today’s maritime service members.
