Sailors in port for the weeklong celebration of the Navy and Marine Corps 250th birthday in Philadelphia listen to the Navy Band Commodores perform at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The concert was one of dozens of events across the city from October 9-15 celebrating the 250th birthday of the Navy and Marine Corps, allowing visitors and residents the opportunity to experience firsthand the professionalism and warfighter strength of today’s maritime service members.
