U.S. Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, stage an M109A6 Paladin Howitzer for a live fire mission during their crew certification Paladin Table VI at Orzysz Training Area, Poland, Oct. 3, 2025. The certification evaluated crews on their ability to provide timely and accurate artillery support while strengthening NATO’s collective defense posture. Task force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while building partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners.
