A U.S. Army crew assigned to Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, fires their M109A6 Paladin Howitzer during the night fires portion of the Paladin Table VI gunnery at Orzysz Training Area, Poland, Oct. 3, 2025. The certification validated the unit’s ability to deliver long-range precision fires, contributing to NATO readiness and deterrence on the Alliance’s eastern flank. Task force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's only forward-deployed Corps in Europe.
