Tim Lickness, a retired Army first lieutenant and Pasadena, Calif., native, presented books and photos of his time in the Vietnam War during the second Warriors of the Faith meeting at the chapel aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., May 14. Warriors of the Faith meetings are an opportunity for younger service members to learn from the experiences of veterans. Lickness served as a platoon leader with the 101st Airborne Division and once led his platoon on a five-day mission through the jungle to rescue the crew of a crashed medevac helicopter.
