U.S. Army medical personnel from the 65th Medical Brigade, assigned to Camp Humphreys, load patient role-players into a Field Litter Ambulance (FLA) during a Medical Evacuation Live Exercise, Sept. 17, 2025. The Medical Evacuation Live Exercise was a joint mass casualty drill simulating a coordinated response to injuries resulting from combat scenarios ranging from Pyeongtaek to Busan, South Korea, involving personnel from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea (CNFK), HM-15, and the 65 th Medical Brigade to enhance readiness and interoperability. CNFK is the U.S. Navy’s representative in the Republic of Korea, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
