SAN DIEGO (Sept. 2, 2025) - From left, Grant Goates, a Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific network engineer; Cyber Warfare Technician 2nd Class Gavin Rodriguez, a Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) Red Team wireless operator; and Louis Rey, the NIWC Pacific Joint Tactical Communication Branch communications lead, observe and discuss a portable spectrum analyzer in the NIWC Pacific 5G lab in preparation for a threat assessment of the NIWC 5G tactical training network as a part of Operation Shoehorn.
