U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Deydre S. Teyhen, center right, recognizes a team of experts from Defense Health Network National Capital Region for their help during a strategic offsite conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 11-13, 2025. Teyhen is the director of the Defense Health Agency’s DHN Indo-Pacific and the commanding general of the Army’s Medical Readiness Command, Pacific. During the strategic offsite, the DHN NCR team taught members of DHN IP and MRC, P the principles of governance and helped them to create a combined governance structure to guide both organizations as they provide health care and medical readiness in the region.
