U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Deydre S. Teyhen, center, addresses participants of a strategic offsite conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 11-13, 2025. Teyhen is the director of the Defense Health Agency’s Defense Health Network Indo-Pacific and the commanding general of the Army’s Medical Readiness Command, Pacific. During the strategic offsite, members of DHN-IP and MRC, P learned the principles of governance and created a combined governance structure to guide both organizations as they provide health care and medical readiness in the region.
