Frank Cable hosted a reception for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific Day, a celebration of shared U.S.-Australian history, commemorating the end of World War II in the Pacific. The forward-deployed submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) Frank Cable and Ohio are in port Brisbane as part of routine operations in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet, the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, operating with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific.
