BRISBANE, Australia (July 30, 2025) – Rear Adm. Lincoln Reifsteck, commander, Submarine Group 7, center, and Jeremy Cornforth, U.S. Consul General Sydney, tour the guided-missile submarine USS Ohio (SSGN 726) while on a scheduled port visit in Brisbane, Australia. The forward-deployed submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) Frank Cable hosted a reception for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific Day, a celebration of shared U.S.-Australian history, commemorating the end of World War II in the Pacific. Frank Cable and Ohio are in port Brisbane as part of routine operations in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet, the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, operating with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific.
