Dr. Stephen Ferrara, acting assistant secretary of defense for health affairs, presents a team award for outstanding program management to U.S. Army Col. Owen Roberts, program manager, Operational Medical Systems Program Management Office, at the 2025 Military Health System Research Symposium in Kissimmee, Florida, on Aug. 4. The joint team was recognized in the category, “Enhancing Military Medical Readiness through Global Health Engagement and Research.” The JPM CBRN Medical team is recognized for excellence in increasing warfighter readiness and reducing operational risk from chemical agents.
