U.S. Army soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division supporting Task Force Iron interact with local residents at a military equipment static display celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Poland Land Forces 15th Mechanized Brigade in Giżycko, Poland, July 11, 2025. NATO Multinational Battle Group Poland soldiers from the United States, Romania, Croatia, and the United Kingdom joined together to commemorate this milestone. The event provided an opportunity for residents to engage directly with soldiers from Battle Group Poland, fostering relationships and enhancing cultural understanding. Task Force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s only forward-deployed corps in Europe.
