he 714th Quartermaster Company, in coordination with the 219th Quartermaster Detachment of the 292nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, conducted saltwater purification and distribution operations using the Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) during Annual Training.
This critical mission demonstrated the unit’s capability to convert ocean water into safe, potable water—supporting field operations while reducing the need for bottled water logistics. The ROWPU system is essential for sustaining troops in austere environments and remains a key asset for both combat and humanitarian missions.
