A secured hand line provides crucial support for Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency personnel ascending the slope during a pre-deployment site survey in Vietnam, May 26, 2025. Investigation teams visit remote and hard to access areas in pursuit of identifying sites associated with the loss of U.S. personnel from the Vietnam War. The United States is committed to DPAA’s mission to provide the fullest possible accounting of our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
