Midshipman 3rd Class Gage Oyster, originally from Fort Lauderale, Florida, looks through binoculars and learns about navigation operations during a tour of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106), currently moored at Naval Base San Diego, June 20, 2025. During the tour, midshipmen had the opportunity to interact with Stockdale's crew, and learn about life aboard a U.S. Navy ship as a part of the Career Orientation and Training for Midshipmen and Professional Training of Midshipmen initiatives.
