Romanian Land Forces Maj. Cosmin Baciu, commander of the Transylvanian Gepards, observes U.S. Army Sgt. Tyler Wold of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, in support of Task Force Iron, as he fires a Romanian Pușcă Automată model 1986 rifle during a Romanian-led shooting competition in Orysz, Poland, June 6, 2025. The competition enhanced soldiers' knowledge of Romanian Land Forces weapon systems and fostered interoperability between the two forces. Task Force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s only forward-deployed corps in Europe. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Trevor Wilson)
